Cottage weekend 2021 was a great success!

Finally took some time this week to get my ears lowered.

Nature is healing and the Craft Draught has resumed! Last night Raquel, Colin, and I went out to The Carleton for another craft beer showdown. Last night it was Good Robot vs Brightwood.
preserved lemon, edamame, pickled beets

chimenea batter, tamarind glaze, spring onions

toasted carnarolli rice, spicy tomato, pecorino

breaded pork cutlet, apple gastrique, grilled broccolini

red wine reduction, blue cheese, vanilla crumble

The votes were close all through the night with Good Robot taking 3 rounds and Brightwood winning 2. The overall winner last night was Good Robot!
Lockdown restrictions have eased which means two things.
First the Carleton can host another Craft Draught Showdown!
Second it means it is another opportunity for a #selfieswithoutgrant

I’ve worn an Apple Watch for a little over 6 years but today I managed to extend my move streak to 365 days for the first time!

Lazy Sunday protocols have been enacted ☀️

Lunch with friends again! Nature is healing!
Also @grantisagrant took a moment to capture the beauty of my lockdown flow.

The final piece of my work from home setup arrived today and Luna helped me test it out tonight. #OfficeHammock

In some ways it seems like a small thing, but learning that my employer was making Juneteeth a global holiday felt important.
We want everyone at 1Password to have the opportunity to reflect and learn about racial inequality, so we’re making Juneteenth a paid holiday for our team of 400+ people, across the globe – our (virtual) offices will be closed on Friday, June 18, 2021. In an effort to educate and inspire action, we shared information on the history/heritage of the holiday and ways 1Password employees can make a difference in their communities.
1Password is making the Juneteeth pledge
Absolute perfection 🤌🏻
This is an all time sequence of tweets. One of these days people will get it 🏳️🌈
I love the idea of describing what I do as “Sparkling DevOps”
